Hi Jack / Tom, is it possible to get some thing altered with being able to post pictures on this site? the reason being pictures i took at Kirkbride over the weekend i can not upload them because they are over 100kb which is what all mine are, maybe most peoples are? hence not many pictures being put on here,But they will upload no problem on Facebook like every one elses!!

Joe, on most Message Boards you can't upload photographs because they simply take up too much space on the Server and in general, space costs money!

What most people do is to have an account with an image hosting site like Photobucket where the pictures are stored then put a link to the image in the posting, using the 'Insert Image' button on the toolbar (the one that looks like a camera)...

All the photographs of the MTPC event have been posted in this way. All the photographs are actually held on a Photobucket server somewhere, with only the image links in the posts themselves. When the post is displayed the pictures look as if they are in there...

If you want any more information on how to do this, send me a PM.

Joe, this link is to a PDF I put together to help people post images on Message Boards. The Photobucket screen shots are slightly out of date but at least it'll give you the general idea...

How to post images using Photobucket
