Rules, rules, rules! I don't like too many rules, but....


To keep this forum clean, usable, and helpful to others a set of rules have been put together that we ask all forum members to comply to:

Registration

• Free Registration Required to Post.
  You will only be able to view topics until you register. Once you register, you will be able to post.
  
  
• Valid E-mail Required.
  When you register, you must provide a valid e-mail address. You will receive an e-mail at that e-mail address with a link for you to click on to verify your e-mail address. You will not be able to post or edit your profile until you verify your e-mail address.
  
  

Golden Rules

• Use a Descriptive Topic Subject.
  This will help others find what they want to read.
• No Trolling.
  Don't make posts that are inflammatory just to annoy people.
• No Personal Attacks.
  Criticise ideas, not people. Flaming will not be tolerated. This includes any material which is vulgar, defamatory, inaccurate, harassing, hateful, threatening, invading of others privacy, sexually oriented, or violates any laws.
• Racism.
  We will not tolerate racist or anti-semetic remarks on this website.
• No pornographic, sexually offensive, sexually explicit, or objectifying material. This includes suggestive images, graphics, and comments. We would like this site to remain a family oriented site.
• Do not post links to warez, warez sites or sites with pornographic or objectionable content.
  Only link to sites that are for family viewing only.
• Respect the privacy of others.
  Do not post other's phone numbers, addresses, pictures, etc., without their permission.
• Do not use objectionable language.
• Politics and Religion.
  Remember, everyone has a different viewpoint and yours is just as valid as the next person's. Please keep your discussions civil. Not everyone is going to agree with you or be converted to your point of view. No throwing chairs, no pulling hair, no personal attacks, etc. This is a place for discussions, not fights. We will edit or delete your posts if necessary.
• No baiting 
• No Spamming.
  No commercial posts or flooding the forum with useless content.
• Message content.
  You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages.
• No Cap Locks.
  Please do not post messages with the subject or post all in capital letters, or your message will be edited or deleted. Words all in capitals are not only annoying but are read 50% slower than normal writing. Plus, it is considered YELLING by internet users who have been around for awhile.

 

• Hidden Posts. If a hidden post is then edited by the original poster Admin will approve the post if it is deemed acceptable.
• Bringing the forum into disripute. If Anybody brings the forum into disrepute... You will be given a warning. If you have a problem please e-mail me at Jack@tractorpulling.co.uk

Signatures and Avatars

• Signatures may contain 1 Personal image (max. 500 x 150pixels) and have no more than 2 lines of reasonably sized text
      OR
  Signatures may contain no picture and no more than 4 lines of reasonably sized text
• Signatures may contain a link to your Personal site or Club Website
• Signatures are expected to follow the same guidelines as posts.
• Avatar files should not exceed 50K in size.
• Signature images should not exceed 75k in size.

Advertising

• NO Advertising
  This forum is not free advertising space. We will remove any post or signiture that we deem to be advertising.
• Members Advertising. If a member of the forum is deemed to be advertising for a company on Tractorpulling.co.uk. The Post will be removed or edited.
• Signitures. No Members can put advertising banners in there signitures
• No Links. No Links that go to company websites are allowed in your signitures. Links to club websites and personal websites are allowed.

 

Enforcement of Rules

• If you are found breaking any of the rules you may have your posts deleted, edited or moved (as appropriate). You may also be given a warning on your account. 3 warning and your account may be deleted or suspended if the violation is serious enough or repeated after being warned.
  
• If you find a post that breaks any of these rules, please contact us immediately by sending an e-mail (jack@tractorpulling.co.uk) or private message so we can take appropriate action.
